Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and originate new asset-based lending opportunities with Commercial Banking clients in the Atlanta region
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on client assets, including field examinations and collateral appraisals
  • Structure and negotiate ABL facilities, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase risk policies and client needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with middle-market borrowers, advisors, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with credit, legal, and syndication teams to underwrite and close deals efficiently
  • Monitor portfolio performance, manage covenant compliance, and mitigate risks in existing ABL facilities
  • Develop market intelligence on ABL trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
  • Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and reports for senior management and clients
  • Support cross-selling of additional JP Morgan Chase products like treasury services and capital markets solutions
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in asset-based lending, commercial banking, or related financial services
  • Proven track record in originating and structuring ABL deals for middle-market clients
  • Strong understanding of collateral valuation, borrowing bases, and risk assessment in asset-based financing
  • Experience with financial modeling, credit analysis, and due diligence processes
  • Active network within the commercial banking sector, particularly in the Southeast US
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent certifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Familiarity with syndicated lending and capital markets
