In this Associate-level role within Oversight & Governance, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our outsourcing arrangements align with the highest standards of risk management and regulatory compliance, safeguarding our clients' interests and supporting our commitment to operational excellence in the financial services industry. As an Outsourcing & Governance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the governance of third-party relationships across JP Morgan's diverse portfolio. This includes conducting thorough due diligence, monitoring vendor performance, and ensuring adherence to key regulations such as the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing and Central Bank of Ireland expectations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop robust frameworks that mitigate risks associated with outsourcing, from IT services to business process outsourcing, while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end outsourcing lifecycle for JP Morgan Chase's operations in Ireland, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on third-party vendors to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks for outsourcing arrangements, including contract reviews and performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and IT, to implement robust oversight mechanisms
  • Prepare and present reports on outsourcing activities to senior management and regulatory bodies such as the Central Bank of Ireland
  • Monitor and audit vendor performance, identifying issues and recommending remediation actions
  • Support the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations into outsourcing strategies
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs on outsourcing best practices for internal stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes and advise on their impact on JP Morgan's outsourcing portfolio
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance processes to enhance efficiency and risk management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in outsourcing, vendor management, or governance within the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing, and Central Bank of Ireland requirements
  • Proven experience in risk assessment and compliance oversight for third-party arrangements
  • Professional certification such as Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) or equivalent in risk management
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland and ability to obtain necessary regulatory approvals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
