Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents for corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions in the financial services sector
• Conduct legal research on UK and EU financial regulations to support compliance efforts at JP Morgan Chase
• Manage and organize case files, contracts, and regulatory submissions using electronic document management systems
• Collaborate with attorneys and compliance teams to ensure adherence to banking laws and internal policies
• Support due diligence processes for client onboarding and risk assessments in investment banking
• Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations related to legal matters in finance
• Monitor regulatory updates from bodies like the FCA and coordinate internal responses
• Assist in litigation support, including discovery and evidence preparation for financial disputes
• Participate in the Re-Entry Program training to reintegrate into the professional environment at JP Morgan Chase

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in law, business, or a related field
• At least 5 years of prior professional experience as a paralegal or in legal administration within the financial services sector
• Current extended career break of at least two years due to personal circumstances such as caregiving or family responsibilities
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship
• Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance standards
• Proficiency in legal research and document management tools

Preferred Qualifications
