About the Role

As a Part-Time Associate Banker (20 hours per week), you will play a vital role in delivering our signature hospitality and client-centric service. In this dynamic role within the Consumer & Community Banking division, you will support clients by handling everyday transactions, offering personalized advice on financial products, and fostering long-term relationships. You'll educate clients on our digital platforms, including the Chase Mobile app, to enhance their banking experience and promote convenience. Compliance is key; you'll adhere to all regulatory standards to ensure secure and trustworthy interactions. As part of a new build branch, you'll contribute to opening events and community engagement, strengthening JPMorgan Chase's presence in the Wendell community. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience at the new Wendell Falls Branch
  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and account openings with accuracy and efficiency
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate JPMorgan Chase products such as checking accounts, credit cards, and investment options
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools, mobile apps, and online services to promote self-service options
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state banking regulations, including anti-money laundering protocols
  • Collaborate with branch team members to achieve sales goals and support branch operations in a new build environment
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly, escalating complex matters to senior bankers
  • Assist in branch merchandising and community outreach events to build local relationships in Wendell, NC
  • Monitor and update client information in JPMorgan Chase systems to ensure data accuracy

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clients
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and financial software
  • Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with banking regulations
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the Wendell Falls Branch location
