Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience at the Taylor and May branch
  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist clients in opening and maintaining personal and business checking and savings accounts
  • Identify client needs and refer appropriate opportunities for credit cards, loans, mortgages, and investment products
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools, mobile apps, and online platforms to promote self-service options
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state banking regulations, including anti-money laundering protocols
  • Collaborate with branch team to achieve sales goals and deliver seamless client service
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawer daily
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
  • Participate in branch events and community outreach to strengthen JP Morgan Chase's presence in Chicago

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of basic banking products and services
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer literacy
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
