In this role, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in cash handling and adherence to federal regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act is essential. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients with a focus on hospitality, providing personalized service to meet their banking needs

  • Identify opportunities to recommend JPMorgan Chase products such as checking accounts, credit cards, and investment options
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawer daily
  • Support branch operations in a new build environment, including setup and adaptation to modern banking technologies
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly, escalating complex matters to senior bankers
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming and efficient branch atmosphere
  • Participate in client education on digital banking tools and fraud prevention
  • Contribute to branch goals by actively engaging clients in the Southend community of Charlotte, NC

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong cash handling and transaction processing skills
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
