Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience at the Downtown Portland Branch
  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist clients in opening and maintaining personal and business accounts, explaining features and benefits
  • Identify client needs and refer opportunities for additional JPMorgan Chase products like credit cards, loans, and investment services
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure secure and ethical operations
  • Collaborate with branch team members to achieve sales goals and deliver seamless client service
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly, escalating complex matters to senior bankers
  • Support branch operations by balancing cash drawers, preparing reports, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
  • Promote digital banking tools to help clients manage finances conveniently through Chase mobile app and online platforms
  • Participate in community outreach events to build JPMorgan Chase's presence in Portland, ME

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of basic banking products and services
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings
