Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience at the Hamilton Marketplace Branch
  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate JP Morgan Chase products such as checking accounts, credit cards, and investment options
  • Assist with account openings, maintenance, and resolving customer inquiries or issues promptly
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state banking regulations, including anti-money laundering protocols
  • Collaborate with branch team members to achieve sales goals and promote a positive branch atmosphere
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawer daily
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools to encourage self-service and long-term relationships
  • Support branch events and community initiatives in Hamilton, NJ to build local engagement

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including some weekends and evenings as needed
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
