Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience at the Irving and 24th Branch
  • Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist clients with account openings, maintenance, and basic financial inquiries using JPMorgan Chase systems
  • Identify client needs and refer opportunities for additional products like credit cards, loans, or investment services
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state banking regulations, including anti-money laundering protocols
  • Collaborate with branch team to achieve sales goals and deliver seamless client service
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawers daily
  • Resolve client issues promptly and escalate complex matters to senior bankers
  • Promote digital banking tools to encourage self-service and improve client convenience
  • Participate in branch events and community outreach to build relationships in San Francisco's diverse neighborhoods

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
