Key Responsibilities

  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist clients in opening and maintaining personal and business accounts, explaining features and benefits
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate JPMorgan Chase products such as checking, savings, credit cards, and loans
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, escalating complex matters to senior bankers when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols
  • Support branch operations by balancing cash drawers, preparing daily reports, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch sales goals and foster a positive team culture
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools to promote self-service options and improve satisfaction
  • Participate in community outreach events at the MLK Plaza Branch to build local relationships and promote JPMorgan Chase services

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
