Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience at the Mt Sterling Branch
• Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency
• Assist clients in opening and maintaining personal and business checking and savings accounts
• Educate clients on digital banking tools, mobile apps, and online services to promote self-service options
• Identify opportunities to refer clients to appropriate financial products like loans, credit cards, or investment services
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state banking regulations, including anti-money laundering protocols
• Collaborate with branch team members to achieve sales and service goals
• Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawers daily
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
• Support branch operations by preparing reports and maintaining accurate records

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
• Strong understanding of basic banking products and services
• Ability to work up to 30 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Proficiency in using computer systems and basic office software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
