Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality in line with JPMorgan Chase's client-first philosophy
  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy
  • Assist clients in opening new accounts and explaining JPMorgan Chase banking products
  • Identify client needs and refer opportunities to branch bankers or specialists for deeper financial solutions
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and JPMorgan Chase policies
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawer daily
  • Support branch operations by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining lobby organization
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools to enhance their self-service experience
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch sales and service goals
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of basic banking products and services
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive client information
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check

  • Prior experience in a banking or financial institution
  • Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, to serve diverse Santa Barbara clientele
