Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience
  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy
  • Assist clients with account openings, maintenance, and basic inquiries using JPMorgan Chase systems
  • Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate JPMorgan Chase products like checking accounts or credit cards
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state banking regulations, including anti-money laundering protocols
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawers daily
  • Collaborate with branch team to support client retention and growth in the South Central Oregon region
  • Resolve client issues promptly, escalating complex matters to senior bankers
  • Participate in branch events and community outreach to build JPMorgan Chase's local presence in Bend, OR
  • Ensure the branch environment is welcoming, clean, and secure

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong cash handling and transaction processing skills
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on client hospitality
  • Compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies
