Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional hospitality to enhance their banking experience
  • Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with accuracy
  • Assist clients with account openings, maintenance, and inquiries about products like checking, savings, and credit cards
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools, mobile apps, and online services to promote self-service options
  • Identify client needs and refer opportunities for wealth management, lending, or investment services to specialized teams
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) protocols
  • Collaborate with branch team to achieve sales and service goals in the Upper Manhattan market
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely, balancing teller drawers daily
  • Resolve client issues promptly and escalate complex matters to branch leadership
  • Participate in community outreach events to build JPMorgan Chase's presence in Upper Manhattan

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a retail or financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of basic banking products and services
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer literacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
