Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for global merchant acquiring authentication solutions, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's Payments business objectives
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and compliance teams to design and implement secure authentication features that reduce fraud while enhancing merchant and customer experience
• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities in EMEA payments landscape, including PSD2 compliance and open banking integrations
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., card schemes, fintechs) to define product requirements and prioritize features using data-driven insights
• Oversee product launches, including testing, go-to-market strategies, and performance monitoring to ensure scalability across London and Dublin operations
• Drive innovation in authentication technologies such as biometrics, tokenization, and risk-based authentication to support JP Morgan's global merchant acquiring growth
• Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) like authentication success rates, fraud loss rates, and merchant adoption, providing regular reports to senior leadership
• Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory standards and JP Morgan's risk management frameworks, mitigating operational and compliance risks
• Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the broader Payments product management community within JP Morgan Chase

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in product management, payments, or financial services, with a focus on merchant acquiring or authentication solutions
• Proven track record in developing and launching payment authentication products in a global financial environment
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements such as PSD2, PCI DSS, and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) in the EU and UK markets
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, compliance, and sales in a large-scale financial institution
• Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems, including card networks (Visa, Mastercard), digital wallets, and emerging authentication technologies
• Ability to travel internationally as needed for stakeholder engagement in London, Dublin, or other EMEA locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a Tier 1 bank or payments provider like JP Morgan Chase, Visa, or Mastercard
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence for product lifecycle management
• Prior exposure to AI/ML-driven fraud detection or biometric authentication solutions
• Fluency in additional European languages (e.g., French, German) for EMEA market expansion
• Certifications in product management (e.g., PMP, Certified Scrum Product Owner) or payments (e.g., EPC or PCI Professional)
