Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, assessment, and implementation of regulatory changes impacting JP Morgan Chase's payments business in the APAC region
  • Develop and maintain robust control frameworks to ensure compliance with evolving regulations in payments and transaction services
  • Collaborate with GRDE (Global Regulatory and Data Enablement) teams to monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable control enhancements
  • Conduct gap analyses and remediation plans for regulatory requirements, ensuring timely execution and reporting to senior management
  • Partner with business lines, technology, and operations to integrate regulatory controls into payment processing systems and workflows
  • Oversee the documentation, testing, and validation of controls to mitigate risks in regulatory change management
  • Provide advisory support on regulatory impacts to payments products, including cross-border transactions and digital wallets
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs for stakeholders on regulatory compliance in the payments landscape

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field

  • Proven track record in managing regulatory change programs, particularly in payments and transaction banking
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, PSD2, and Singapore MAS guidelines
  • Experience in developing and implementing control frameworks for regulatory reporting and compliance
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, operations, and technology
  • Professional certifications such as CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) or equivalent
