Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality control and standards framework for payments regulatory reporting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards
  • Manage end-to-end regulatory engagements, including preparation for audits, examinations, and interactions with regulators such as Banxico and CNBV in Mexico
  • Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to mitigate risks in payments reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, and technology groups, to align on regulatory requirements and reporting obligations
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory changes impacting payments operations, providing strategic advice to senior leadership at JP Morgan Chase
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes, leveraging data analytics to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
  • Mentor and develop a team of analysts and specialists in quality standards and regulatory best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, or payments operations within the financial services industry
  • Proven leadership experience in managing quality control processes and regulatory engagements at a senior level
  • In-depth knowledge of global payments regulations, including those from the Federal Reserve, ECB, and local Mexican financial authorities
  • Strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and sanctions compliance frameworks
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools in a high-volume financial environment
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
