Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of innovative payment initiation solutions using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy for Wholesale Payments
• Oversee cloud-based deployments and ensure scalable, secure architectures
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
• Integrate payment systems with core banking platforms and third-party APIs
• Identify and mitigate risks in payment processing workflows
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in fintech and payments innovation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS and GDPR
• Prototype and test new features to enhance payment efficiency and user experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Java development
• Proven experience leading technical teams in agile environments
• Strong knowledge of payment systems and financial services regulations
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deployment
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for financial sector work
