You will contribute to maintaining JP Morgan's reputation for operational excellence by handling sensitive financial data and supporting smooth employee transitions. Your primary focus will be on processing final wage payments, including base pay, bonuses, severance, and accrued benefits, while adhering to federal and state regulations such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state-specific final pay laws. You will collaborate with HR business partners, legal experts, and finance teams to review termination details, calculate entitlements, and resolve any discrepancies. Utilizing advanced payroll systems like Workday, you will ensure all transactions are recorded accurately for JP Morgan's global financial reporting standards, minimizing risks associated with payroll errors in our dynamic banking and investment operations.
