Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline payroll processes, reducing manual errors and processing time for JP Morgan Chase's global workforce
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to integrate payroll systems with core banking platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance
• Analyze existing payroll workflows to identify automation opportunities, focusing on high-volume transactions in financial services operations
• Monitor and maintain automated payroll tools, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime during critical pay cycles
• Ensure all automation initiatives adhere to UK regulatory requirements and JP Morgan's internal controls for data security
• Generate reports and dashboards on payroll efficiency metrics to support strategic decision-making in HR Service Delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, HR operations, or automation within a financial services environment
• Proficiency in payroll systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar enterprise software
• Strong understanding of UK payroll regulations, including HMRC compliance and auto-enrollment pension schemes
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, VBA, or PowerShell for automation tasks
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee data in compliance with GDPR and financial industry standards
• Relevant certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent
