Key Responsibilities

  • Process and validate monthly payroll for JP Morgan Chase employees in Switzerland, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Tax teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and anomalies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Swiss labor laws, tax codes, and benefits structures to mitigate risks
  • Manage payroll data integrity, including employee records, deductions, and garnishments in the EMEA Payroll system
  • Support payroll audits, both internal and external, providing documentation and explanations as needed
  • Assist in year-end reporting, tax filings, and reconciliation for Swiss operations
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for benefits administration and pension contributions
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the Global HR Payroll team
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and handle escalations for complex payroll queries
  • Ensure timely delivery of payroll reports to senior management for financial planning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multinational financial services environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security contributions
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong understanding of EMEA payroll processes and compliance requirements
  • Experience handling payroll for a large employee base in the financial sector
  • Fluency in English and French, with additional German language skills preferred
