Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate pension benefit calculations for eligible employees and retirees using proprietary JP Morgan systems
  • Review and verify pension data inputs, ensuring compliance with ERISA, IRS, and company policies
  • Collaborate with HR teams and external vendors to resolve pension-related inquiries and discrepancies
  • Conduct periodic audits of pension records to maintain data integrity and regulatory adherence
  • Generate reports on pension liabilities and projections for senior management in the financial services division
  • Support the implementation of pension plan changes and system enhancements
  • Provide exceptional client service to internal stakeholders, delivering timely and accurate pension information
  • Monitor and update pension operations processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Assist in training junior team members on pension calculation methodologies
  • Contribute to risk management by identifying potential issues in pension fund operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in pension administration, benefits operations, or financial services HR
  • Strong understanding of pension regulations, including ERISA and IRS guidelines
  • Proficiency in pension calculation software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial and employee data with confidentiality
  • Experience in operational processes within a large financial institution
