Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end operations and delivery of pension and 401(k) programs for JP Morgan Chase employees, ensuring seamless HR service delivery
  • Oversee a team of operations specialists, providing guidance on daily activities, performance management, and professional development
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Legal teams, to align retirement strategies with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including ERISA, DOL, and IRS guidelines, while mitigating operational risks
  • Drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency in pension administration and participant services
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party administrators to optimize service levels and control costs
  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data trends, and report on retirement plan health to senior leadership
  • Support large-scale projects such as plan enhancements, system migrations, or mergers and acquisitions impacting retirement benefits
  • Provide expert consultation to employees and leadership on pension and 401(k) matters, fostering a culture of financial wellness

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in pension operations, 401(k) administration, or retirement plan management within the financial services industry
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in HR service delivery, particularly in retirement benefits
  • In-depth knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and other compliance standards for qualified retirement plans
  • Strong understanding of pension and 401(k) plan design, implementation, and ongoing administration
  • Experience with vendor management and oversight in retirement services
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment
