Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a resilient GraphQL platform to support JP Morgan's financial services applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to ensure secure and scalable implementations
• Implement best practices for API security, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption
• Optimize platform performance to handle high-volume transactions in the financial sector
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold code quality and reliability
• Integrate GraphQL with existing JP Morgan systems, such as core banking and risk management tools
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues to minimize downtime in production environments
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform by incorporating feedback from stakeholders and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior engineers on GraphQL best practices and financial industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in building and maintaining GraphQL APIs and platforms
• Experience working in agile environments with a focus on secure and scalable systems
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and data security standards
