Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed performance analysis for global portfolios, including return calculations, attribution, and benchmarking against relevant indices
  • Develop and maintain performance measurement frameworks for alternative investments such as private equity, hedge funds, and real assets
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and investment teams to provide insights on performance drivers and risk-adjusted returns
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GIPS standards
  • Analyze and reconcile portfolio data from multiple sources, identifying discrepancies and implementing process improvements
  • Support the Global Solutions & Alternatives team in client reporting and ad-hoc analytical requests
  • Monitor and enhance performance attribution models to reflect evolving market conditions and investment strategies
  • Contribute to regulatory filings and internal audits related to performance measurement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in portfolio analysis, performance measurement, or investment operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, with a focus on performance attribution and risk metrics
  • In-depth knowledge of investment performance standards such as GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards)
  • Experience working with alternative investments including hedge funds, private equity, and real assets
  • Ability to handle complex datasets and perform accurate calculations for portfolio returns and benchmarks
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation or progress towards it

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or a related discipline
