Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the portfolio management of data and analytics programs within the CDAO, ensuring alignment with JPMorgan Chase's strategic objectives
  • Oversee program execution across multiple initiatives, including data governance, AI/ML deployment, and analytics platform enhancements
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders in business lines such as Corporate & Investment Bank and Consumer & Community Banking to prioritize projects
  • Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps, risk assessments, and performance metrics to track ROI and compliance
  • Drive resource allocation and budgeting for data initiatives, optimizing for cost efficiency in a high-stakes financial environment
  • Mentor and build high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making
  • Identify emerging trends in financial data analytics, such as real-time risk modeling, and integrate them into the firm's strategy
  • Ensure all programs adhere to JPMorgan Chase's risk management frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Facilitate cross-firm governance forums to resolve dependencies and escalate issues to executive leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Analytics) preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio and program management within financial services or technology sectors
  • Proven track record leading large-scale data and analytics initiatives in a banking environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCAR, and Basel III impacting data governance
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization like JPMorgan Chase
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic alignment between business units and technology teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in agile methodologies and portfolio management tools like Jira or Planview
  • Background in risk management or compliance within investment banking or asset management
  • Certification in PMP, PgMP, or data-related credentials (e.g., CDMP)
