Key Responsibilities

  • Perform independent pricing and valuation of securities across asset classes including equities, bonds, and derivatives
  • Analyze market data and pricing sources to ensure accuracy and reliability of valuations for JP Morgan Chase clients
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver timely valuation services supporting trading, risk management, and reporting functions
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in pricing data, applying quantitative models where necessary
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of valuation methodologies compliant with internal policies and regulations
  • Support ad-hoc valuation requests from market participants and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor market events and their impact on securities pricing, providing insights to senior analysts
  • Document valuation processes and prepare reports for audit and regulatory purposes
  • Assist in training junior team members on pricing tools and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 1-3 years of experience in securities valuation, pricing, or financial data management
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products
  • Proficiency in data analysis and valuation methodologies in a financial services context
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for securities valuation such as IFRS 13 and ASC 820
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment at a leading financial institution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Quantitative Finance
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, or other market data platforms
