Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile prime brokerage trade settlements for client portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor daily trade flows, identify discrepancies, and resolve settlement breaks in collaboration with trading desks
  • Liaise with internal teams and external counterparties to facilitate smooth trade lifecycle execution
  • Maintain accurate records of settlements, collateral movements, and margin calls in JP Morgan's proprietary systems
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting for prime brokerage clients, including NAV reconciliations
  • Assist in the implementation of new settlement processes and system enhancements
  • Contribute to risk management by flagging potential settlement risks or operational issues
  • Provide ad-hoc support to senior analysts on complex client queries and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow improvements and industry best practices
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's control standards and audit requirements in all settlement activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial modeling
