As a Principal Architect in this team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling our enterprise data and AI platforms, focusing on Data Mesh architectures, Generative AI integrations, and cloud-native solutions tailored to the complexities of the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable enterprise data and AI platforms to support JPMC's global financial operations
• Drive the adoption of Data Mesh architecture across JPMC's data domains, ensuring decentralized ownership and interoperability
• Lead the integration of Generative AI capabilities into core data platforms, enhancing analytics for risk management and trading
• Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments to optimize data processing for high-volume financial transactions
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business teams to define technical roadmaps aligned with JPMC's strategic goals
• Ensure platforms meet stringent security, compliance, and performance standards in the financial services industry
• Mentor senior architects and engineers on best practices for AI and data scalability
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to future-proof JPMC's data and AI infrastructure
• Conduct proof-of-concepts for AI-driven innovations in areas like fraud detection and personalized banking services
• Monitor platform performance and lead optimization efforts to handle petabyte-scale data volumes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on data platforms and AI solutions in financial services
• Proven track record in designing scalable, cloud-native data architectures for large-scale financial institutions
• Deep expertise in Data Mesh principles and implementation in regulated environments like banking
• Experience leading Generative AI initiatives, including integration with enterprise data systems
• Strong understanding of financial regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and SOX compliance for data handling
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global organization like JPMC

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience with JPMC's internal tools or similar large-scale banking data ecosystems
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architecture
• Prior leadership in AI-driven projects within fintech or capital markets
• Publications or contributions to open-source projects in data and AI domains
