Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and evolution of the Global Customer Platform to support seamless, secure customer experiences across JP Morgan Chase's diverse financial products
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define technical roadmaps that align with firm-wide strategic goals in wealth management, retail banking, and investment services
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security to handle high-volume transactions and global user traffic while adhering to financial regulations
• Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and blockchain to enhance customer personalization and fraud detection
• Mentor and guide senior architects and developers, fostering a culture of architectural excellence and best practices
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and performance optimizations for platform components
• Partner with global stakeholders to align platform architecture with international compliance standards and operational needs
• Contribute to the firm's technology strategy by evaluating and recommending tools for cloud-native development and DevOps
• Monitor and resolve complex technical issues impacting customer platform performance and availability
• Advocate for sustainable architecture practices, including cost optimization and environmental considerations in data center operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure platforms for customer-facing applications
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices design patterns
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services, including data privacy laws like GDPR and SOX
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments to deliver high-impact projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation in technology solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's technology stack or similar banking platforms
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) or enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
• Background in real-time data processing and AI/ML integration for customer platforms
• Prior leadership in global, distributed teams within the financial sector

Required Skills

• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and design patterns
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or similar programming languages for backend systems
• Experience with API design, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling for financial datasets
• Skills in cybersecurity principles, including encryption, authentication, and threat modeling
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
