Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert architecture guidance to design and deliver infrastructure platforms that embed technology controls for identity, access management, and compliance by design
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to architect scalable IAM solutions aligned with JP Morgan Chase's global standards
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance platform security and operational efficiency in financial services operations
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and documentation for infrastructure platforms supporting banking, investment, and asset management divisions
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure platforms adhere to regulatory requirements, mitigating financial and operational risks
• Mentor junior architects and drive knowledge sharing across the organization on best practices for secure infrastructure design
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical architectures that support innovation while maintaining robust controls
• Oversee the implementation of controls testing and monitoring frameworks to ensure continuous compliance in dynamic environments
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, such as cloud migration and digital transformation projects at JP Morgan Chase

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a focus on infrastructure platforms and identity and access management (IAM)
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing technology controls for financial services environments, including compliance with regulations like GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments in a large-scale enterprise setting
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in delivering secure, scalable infrastructure solutions
• Strong understanding of risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and audit processes in banking and financial institutions
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, with exposure to high-stakes trading and asset management systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automating IAM and controls integration
