Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized architectural expertise to multiple teams, influencing the target state architecture for infrastructure platforms across JP Morgan Chase
• Design and evangelize global architecture solutions that ensure scalability, security, and resilience in support of banking and investment services
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure strategies with firm-wide objectives in risk management and regulatory compliance
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of cloud-native technologies, such as AWS or Azure, to optimize costs and performance for financial workloads
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, standards, and governance frameworks to mitigate operational risks in high-stakes trading environments
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to knowledge sharing on best practices for infrastructure in the financial sector
• Conduct technical assessments and proof-of-concepts for innovative solutions like containerization and microservices in secure banking platforms
• Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to JP Morgan Chase's cybersecurity policies and global data privacy regulations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform reliability and support digital transformation in client-facing financial services
• Participate in architecture review boards, providing insights on infrastructure impacts to strategic business initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on infrastructure platforms in a large-scale financial services environment
• Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, including cloud and on-premises architectures
• Deep expertise in financial regulatory compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
• Strong understanding of risk management practices in banking and capital markets
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in architecture initiatives within a global organization
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or CISSP
• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and platforms, or similar large financial institutions
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI/ML integration in infrastructure for fraud detection
• Prior leadership in agile transformation projects within financial services
• MBA or equivalent business acumen in fintech
