Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable cybersecurity platforms that align with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals in secure financial transactions and data protection
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cybersecurity controls into cloud-native and on-premises financial systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing banking applications, identifying vulnerabilities in payment processing and customer data handling
• Lead the adoption of advanced security technologies, such as zero-trust architectures and endpoint detection, to safeguard against cyber threats in the financial sector
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints for cybersecurity solutions, supporting JP Morgan's global operations in retail banking, investment services, and corporate finance
• Provide expert guidance on secure architecture practices during the development of digital banking innovations, including mobile apps and API integrations
• Mentor junior architects and engineers on best practices for cybersecurity in financial environments, fostering a culture of security awareness
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for enhancing cybersecurity resilience against sophisticated attacks targeting financial assets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in a financial services environment
• Proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions for large-scale financial institutions
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX, and FFIEC guidelines specific to banking and finance
• Experience with cloud security architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments in the financial sector
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) in high-stakes financial operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar, with exposure to global banking operations
• Advanced certifications such as CCSP or GIAC in cloud security or architecture
