Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of cloud-native platform components for JPMC's CDAO Data Platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability for financial data processing
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to build and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting AI/ML workloads in a secure financial environment
• Implement and maintain container orchestration using Kubernetes to deploy microservices for real-time transaction processing and risk analytics
• Drive adoption of best practices in cloud security, compliance with regulations like GDPR and SOX, and integration with JPMC's enterprise identity management systems
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews, fostering a culture of innovation within the Platform Engineering team
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production cloud environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial services applications
• Evaluate and integrate emerging cloud technologies to enhance data platform performance and cost-efficiency
• Partner with stakeholders to define platform roadmaps aligned with JPMC's strategic goals in digital transformation and data-driven decision-making
• Develop automated testing and monitoring solutions to ensure high availability of cloud platforms handling petabyte-scale financial datasets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in cloud platform development
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Deep expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for orchestrating cloud-native applications
• Strong understanding of data platforms and their integration with financial services infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a regulated financial environment
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and comply with JPMC's data privacy and regulatory standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly with large-scale data analytics platforms
• Familiarity with JPMC's internal tools and frameworks for cloud platform engineering
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Architect
• Prior leadership in cross-functional teams delivering cloud solutions for enterprise data management
