Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in designing customer-facing portals using React, micro front-ends, and BFF architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and build market-leading digital experiences for JP Morgan Chase clients
• Act as Design Authority, reviewing and approving architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance
• Develop and maintain high-quality codebases that adhere to financial industry standards and best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services, optimizing for low-latency and high-availability in trading and banking portals
• Conduct performance tuning, accessibility testing, and security audits for web applications
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve customer portals
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to deliver iterative improvements
• Ensure all solutions comply with JP Morgan's risk management and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on front-end development
• Proven expertise in React.js, including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux), and component architecture
• Strong understanding of micro front-end architectures and backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure applications in the financial services domain
• Demonstrated ability to lead design authority processes, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for delivering high-quality software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of financial regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX compliance
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in a fintech environment
• Contributions to open-source projects or patents in front-end technologies
