Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models to enhance consumer banking experiences at CCB COSMIC
• Lead the integration of Generative AI solutions for personalized financial advice and automation
• Collaborate with data teams to build scalable pipelines for handling financial datasets
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in AI model governance and ethics
• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and apply them to solve complex financial challenges
• Ensure AI systems comply with regulatory requirements and mitigate biases in models
• Optimize ML models for performance in high-volume trading and risk assessment scenarios
• Partner with product and business teams to translate financial needs into AI-driven features
• Monitor and maintain deployed AI systems, troubleshooting issues in real-time production environments
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, such as AI for fraud detection and customer sentiment analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on AI/ML and Generative AI
• Proven track record of leading AI/ML projects in a financial services environment
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
• Experience with large-scale data processing and model deployment in cloud environments like AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and compliance officers

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline
• Experience with Generative AI models like GPT, BERT, or custom LLMs in production
• Prior work at a major financial institution on AI-driven risk management or fraud detection
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer)
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal tools and agile methodologies

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for AI/ML development
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
