Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review credit applications for private banking clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Perform credit analysis, including assessing client financial statements and collateral documentation
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and credit risk teams to facilitate timely credit approvals
  • Monitor credit facilities, track renewals, and manage amendments to existing agreements
  • Prepare accurate credit reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory submissions
  • Identify and escalate potential credit risks or discrepancies in client portfolios
  • Support the implementation of credit operations enhancements and process improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date records in JP Morgan's core banking systems and ensure data integrity
  • Assist in training junior team members on credit operations procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit operations, banking, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of credit administration processes and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in private banking or wealth management credit operations
  • Knowledge of JP Morgan Chase's internal systems and credit risk frameworks
  • Professional certification such as CFA Level 1 or FRM
