Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Chase Private Clients, providing personalized financial advice and solutions
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products such as investment strategies, mortgages, credit solutions, and deposit accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and families in the Uptown Park area of Houston
  • Collaborate with branch teams, including tellers and specialists, to deliver seamless customer experiences and resolve complex inquiries
  • Drive business growth by prospecting new clients through referrals, community events, and networking in the local Houston market
  • Conduct financial reviews and planning sessions to help clients achieve goals like retirement planning, wealth preservation, and estate strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FINRA, SEC, and internal JPMorgan Chase policies
  • Monitor client portfolios and provide proactive updates on market conditions, opportunities, and risks
  • Participate in branch operations, including opening accounts, processing transactions, and supporting daily banking needs
  • Contribute to team goals by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices in client service excellence

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, business, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in client-facing roles within financial services or banking
  • Active and in good standing with the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 6 or 7 licenses
  • Valid State-specific life insurance license, or ability to obtain within 60 days
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and service goals in a retail banking environment
  • Strong understanding of financial products including investments, lending, and deposit solutions
  • Ability to work in a branch setting in Houston, TX, with flexible hours including some evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Private Banker or Wealth Management Advisor at a major financial institution
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, given the diverse client base in Houston
  • Experience with JPMorgan Chase systems and tools, or similar enterprise banking platforms
