Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and document business requirements for private fund services products
  • Analyze current market trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for product enhancements in private equity and hedge funds
  • Conduct gap analysis on existing systems and processes to recommend improvements in fund administration and reporting
  • Facilitate workshops and user acceptance testing to ensure product solutions meet client needs in the asset management space
  • Develop user stories, wireframes, and functional specifications for development teams
  • Monitor product performance metrics and contribute to roadmap planning for JP Morgan's Private Fund Services
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including technology, compliance, and operations to deliver innovative solutions
  • Support the integration of new technologies like AI and blockchain in fund servicing workflows
  • Prepare reports and presentations on product development progress for senior leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably in asset management or private funds
  • Strong understanding of private fund structures, including hedge funds, private equity, and real estate funds
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle in a banking environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SEC, AIFMD, or similar in the financial industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced certification in finance (e.g., CFA, FRM)
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
