As a Private Funds Operations Vice President based in Newark, DE, you will play a pivotal role in the Trade Lifecycle category, ensuring seamless operations that support our clients' alternative investment strategies in a highly regulated environment. In this position, you will lead operational workflows from trade execution to settlement, overseeing reconciliation processes and NAV calculations for diverse private fund structures. You will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, compliance teams, and external administrators to mitigate risks and drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle for hedge fund and private credit solutions, ensuring accurate execution, settlement, and reconciliation
• Manage daily operations for fund of hedge funds and multi-manager customized portfolios, including NAV oversight and performance reporting
• Collaborate with front office, portfolio managers, and external counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies and operational risks
• Implement and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC filings and anti-money laundering protocols
• Lead process optimization projects to enhance efficiency in alternatives middle office operations
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement in a $28 billion AUM environment
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence within JPMorgan Alternative Asset Management
• Coordinate with technology teams to integrate systems for seamless data flow in trade processing
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to JPMorgan's internal controls and policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations, middle office, or trade lifecycle management within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in hedge fund operations, private credit, or alternative asset management
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, NAV calculations, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Experience with trade settlement, reconciliation, and oversight in a high-volume environment
• Knowledge of SEC regulations, Dodd-Frank, and other compliance frameworks applicable to private funds
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA)
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JPMorgan Chase or similar
• Familiarity with Aladdin or other asset management platforms
• Background in fund of hedge funds or multi-manager portfolio operations
• Demonstrated leadership in process improvement initiatives within alternatives middle office
