Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily profit and loss (P&L) reporting and analysis for assigned product lines
  • Validate and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with trading, risk management, and finance teams to support business decisions
  • Identify and investigate P&L variances, providing insights and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain financial models for product valuation and forecasting
  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reporting to senior management
  • Monitor market data and ensure timely updates to control frameworks
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives in product control
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk and control standards
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to new product launches or regulatory changes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in product control, financial reporting, or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial products such as derivatives, fixed income, or equities
  • Proficiency in financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to banking
  • Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or professional certification (CPA, CFA)
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of risk management practices in product control
