Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports for Banking & Wealth Management products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
  • Perform variance analysis on product performance metrics, identifying discrepancies and providing actionable insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, risk, and compliance, to enhance reporting processes and controls
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of product control frameworks, including pricing validation and profit/loss attribution
  • Monitor and reconcile financial data for banking products like deposits and loans, and wealth management offerings such as advisory services
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and reliable financial data delivery
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in reporting workflows using tools like Alteryx or SQL
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects related to product profitability and regulatory changes
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's ethical standards and risk management policies in all controllership activities
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on product control best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, product control, or controllership within the banking or wealth management sectors
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, including deposits, loans, investment advisory services, and wealth management instruments
  • Proficiency in regulatory reporting requirements such as GAAP, SEC filings, and Basel III standards
  • Experience with financial analysis tools and systems, including Excel and financial databases
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with strict deadlines
