Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of data governance products and platforms, focusing on data classification within the CDAO framework at JP Morgan Chase
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and compliance officers to define product roadmaps and prioritize features
  • Ensure alignment of data classification initiatives with regulatory requirements and JP Morgan's enterprise risk management standards
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to deployment and ongoing optimization
  • Drive agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and performance metrics tracking
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with data products, ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on product progress and impact

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in product management, delivery, or governance roles within financial services or technology sectors
  • Proven track record in managing data governance initiatives, including data classification, metadata management, and compliance frameworks
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, Basel III, and financial data privacy standards in the banking industry
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering data products and platforms
