Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product design process for digital banking platforms, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals and user expectations
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
• Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to inform design decisions in the financial services context
• Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across JP Morgan's mobile and web applications
• Mentor and guide a team of designers, fostering innovation while adhering to regulatory standards in finance
• Prototype and iterate on designs using tools like Figma or Sketch, focusing on accessibility and security features
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to optimize designs for engagement and conversion in wealth management tools
• Partner with compliance teams to ensure designs meet global financial regulations and mitigate risks
• Drive strategic design initiatives that enhance customer trust and loyalty in JP Morgan's digital ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design within the financial services or technology sector
• Proven track record leading design teams on complex, user-centered projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of financial products, regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, FCA guidelines), and user needs in banking and wealth management
• Experience with design thinking methodologies and agile development processes
• Portfolio demonstrating impactful design solutions that drive business outcomes and user satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in user interfaces for financial applications
• Previous leadership in cross-functional teams involving engineering, product management, and compliance

Required Skills

• Expertise in UX/UI design principles and user-centered design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision
• Strong knowledge of financial services domain, including banking apps and investment platforms
