Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and roadmap for the Data Governance Product (DGP), ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals in data management and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, compliance officers, and business leaders to define product requirements and prioritize features
• Conduct market analysis and customer interviews to identify pain points in data governance within the financial services sector, driving innovative solutions
• Oversee the design, testing, and launch of DGP features that enhance data quality, lineage tracking, and access controls for sensitive financial data
• Monitor product performance using data analytics to measure KPIs such as adoption rates, compliance adherence, and risk mitigation effectiveness
• Partner with risk and legal teams to ensure DGP meets evolving regulatory standards and supports JP Morgan's commitment to ethical data practices
• Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement in data-driven decision-making
• Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on product progress and impact on business outcomes
• Integrate emerging technologies like AI and blockchain into DGP to advance data governance capabilities in global banking operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data governance, data management, or related areas in the financial services industry
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver data products that enhance regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and financial-specific standards like Basel III and Dodd-Frank
• Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management in a large-scale enterprise environment
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data ecosystems and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across technology, risk, compliance, and business units

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, with exposure to high-volume transaction data governance
• Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or product management (e.g., PMP, CSPO)
• Background in fintech innovations, including AI/ML applications for data quality and governance
• Prior involvement in data lineage, metadata management, or enterprise data catalog implementations
