Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and enhancement of securities reference data products for JP Morgan's Wealth Management division
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including traders, compliance teams, and technology groups to identify customer needs and pain points
  • Define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and manage backlogs using agile practices to ensure timely delivery
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to improve data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in reference data systems
  • Oversee integration of reference data with core banking platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to innovate data solutions that drive client satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Monitor product performance metrics, such as data quality KPIs, and iterate based on feedback from end-users
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to implement scalable solutions for handling large volumes of securities data

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in financial services or securities reference data
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven products in a regulated environment
  • Deep understanding of securities reference data, including market data standards like FIX, ISO, and Bloomberg
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management in a banking context
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools and SQL
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and MiFID II relevant to wealth management securities

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Data Science
