Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project execution for financial services initiatives, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, risk, and compliance to deliver innovative solutions
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using tools like Jira or MS Project
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to regulatory changes in the financial sector
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
  • Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices in project management within the Bengaluru team
  • Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet KPIs
  • Support team development by mentoring junior associates and fostering a culture of innovation
  • Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's internal policies and industry standards such as GDPR or Basel III
  • Contribute to post-project reviews to capture lessons learned for future financial services projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Management
  • Experience in banking technology or regulatory compliance projects
