Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for equities-related initiatives, from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, developers, compliance officers, and stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while mitigating risks in the dynamic equities market
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and drive innovation in trading systems, platform enhancements, and process optimizations
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies in all project phases
  • Communicate project status updates to senior leadership and provide actionable insights for decision-making
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating feedback and lessons learned into future projects
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations for equities technology solutions
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for project management within the Corporate & Investment Bank division

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in the financial services industry, preferably in equities trading or capital markets
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Strong understanding of equities markets, trading systems, and regulatory requirements like SEC and FINRA
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Confluence
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) in Finance or related field
  • Experience in equities technology projects at a major investment bank
