Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for initiatives in investment banking, asset management, or commercial banking divisions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across JP Morgan Chase to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project or Jira
  • Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the financial services sector
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and drive team performance to meet key milestones
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Communicate project status updates to senior leadership and executives at JP Morgan Chase
  • Foster innovation by integrating emerging technologies like AI and blockchain into financial projects
  • Mentor junior project managers and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and enhance future initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards such as Dodd-Frank and Basel III
  • Experience with agile and waterfall project methodologies
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Ability to manage budgets exceeding $1M and cross-functional teams of 10+ members

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) from an accredited institution
  • Experience in banking or investment management at a tier-1 financial institution
