Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of observability platforms for public cloud environments at JPMorgan Chase

  • Develop and maintain tools for real-time metrics, tracing, and alerting to ensure high availability of financial applications
  • Optimize observability pipelines to handle massive data volumes from cloud-native services in a secure, compliant manner
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in observability engineering within the financial services context
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in production environments, focusing on cloud infrastructure and application performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on observability and monitoring in cloud environments
  • Proficiency in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Go
